My journey into photography, videography, “content creation,” is not exactly orthodox. I’m old enough to remember when high quality photographs were expensive and finding a photographer who had the style you wanted was time consuming and difficult. (This doesn’t even begin to bring quality videography into the fold.) But, I am young enough to not be naive to the fact that everyone has a professional grade camera in their pocket and a portfolio accessible in a glorious feed on social media.

I found my favorite musician on MySpace and Tom was #1 in my Top 8 for a long time before it was editable. I had a Facebook before there was a timeline. And shared my life through pictures on Instagram before TikTok videos took over the world. I mention this because the outcome, the product, your wants will be unique to you, your experiences, and your needs in the current trends of this digital era. I want to meet you there.

I was blessed as a high school senior to have my parents afford me the opportunity to work with a well known and sought after photographer in the industry for senior portraits. A lot of money was spent on just a handful of pictures to have at my disposal, prints and digital. The photographer is a professional, produces phenomenal work, and a genuinely great human being that I am still enamored at the opportunity to work with. However at that time, my sister started dabbling with her professional grade camera and spent some time with me to take senior portriats as well. The photos she took remain a significantly better product because of her ability to capture me and my personality. Not to mention the ease of accessibilty of the images after the fact. This is the product and experience I intend to create with and for you.
